ASUU Strike To End On Monday 23rd Jan

The Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU will call off its strike on Monday the 23rd of January 2012, following the increment on the retirement age of professors of Universities to 70 years and 65 years to Lecturers and non-academic staffs.
This Announcement was disclosed by Professor Rufa'l who stated this yesterday in Abuja at a crucial meeting with Vice Chancellors of Federal universities. She assured that the bill which was passed last Wednesday, 11th of January 2012 will soon be signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan. (This should be signed ASAP before any National issue bigoted it- don't know what mean bigot. sorry, just need some English to remind me that i didn't eaten since morning. Lol)
She noted that Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has disclosed all the issues that will disallow the resolution of the crisis.
Prof Rufa'l said that the federal government, FG, will hold another meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Monday the 23rd of January 2012 to finally resolve the problems so that all Nigerian students can return to their various schools and resume their studies.
Prof Rufa'I urged the Academic Staff Union of Universities to call off their strike as government is making every efforts to meet their demands.

So students should get their things ready and prepare to begin lectures by Tuesday next week.
