MOBILE BROWSING OVERTAKES DESKTOP BROWSING IN NIGERIA

Latest reports and statistics from Stat-Counter has showed that desktop browsing has been overtaken by mobile browsing for the first time in Nigeria.The stats reveal that Internet browsing from mobile phones increased by over 25% between October 2010 and October 2011. On the other hand, Internet browsing from a Desktop PC decreased by over 27% within the past year.
From the report, mobile phones and devices accounted for 52.5% of Internet browsing in Nigeria, while PCs accounted for 47.5% of Internet browsing in Nigeria.
This web trend comes at a time when Nigeria currently has the largest mobile subscriber base in Africa with over 93 million mobile subscribers as at September 2011.
With this latest stats, Nigeria becomes the first African country where mobile browsing overtakes desktop browsing.

JAMB UTME REGISTRATION FORM FOR 2012/2013 ACADEMIC YEAR OUT

Registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME 2012, organised by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria for 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 academic year has commenced online. JAMB UTME scratch card for accessing the e-registration portal for JAMB UTME 2012 is sold for N4,600 at designated banks, NIPOST offices and JAMB offices nationwide. For a long time I have been surfing the next I have found out that it is difficult to find a comprehensive and step by step guild lines to successfully open a new blogger blog.Therefore I have painstakingly written this piece for the newbies that don't know anything about blogging.

Before you start a blog, you need to decide what your subject will be - what you are going write about and put in your blog. What it shouldn't be is something you have no clue about: if you aren't doctor or nurse or paramedic, don't write about medical stuff. If you've never earned a penny doing something online, then don't write about earning money online. Select a subject you have some knowledge about, or something you enjoy. If you have a hobby, like playing games then write about that.Whatever it is you choose, you have to be able to write from knowledge and experience. What Is Web Hosting?

Most of the time we do hear the world Web hosting but only few knows actually what it is all about. Alright I'm going to explain in the details what it means.

Ahmadu Bello University begins registration

Ahmadu Bello University, ABU begins 2011/2012 registration of new students on 14th November 2011We are here to inform the general public about the following information .
Following the release of the Ahmadu Bello University 2011/2012 Admission list. The management of Ahmadu Bello University , ABU has stated that the registration of the newly admitted students (100 and 200 levels respectively) will be conducted from Monday 14th November 2011 and shall end on Saturday 26th November, 2011.
Also the institution has stated that their admission letters will be available to the successful students as from 14th November 2011.
Ahmadu Bello University authority therefore advises all prospective students of the institution to check their names in the admission list that was recently released by the school. Students are advice to check there names before 14th November 2011, so that all successful students can begin their registration immediately.
