RSUST 2nd Choice Result/Admission List 2012/2013 is Out

Rivers State University of Science and Technology has released the 2nd Choice Candidates’ Post-UTME Result and admission list for 2012/2013 Academic session. The result can be checked online for free while the The admission list can now be checked online on purchase of the result checking scratch card for N500. To check your result right now, 1. Visit the admission checking portal USING A COMPUTER SYSTEM by clicking here. 2. Once the portal is open, place your move on the top links that says “Students Info”. From the drop down, click on “Admission Lists”. 3. Select your Session (2012/2013). The page should reload for you to select the list to search. In that box, select “2012/2013 Post-UTME (2nd Choice)” on the list to search. 4. Enter your surname in box 1 OR your jamb registration number in box 2 and click “Search”. Once you click search, your result post-utme result and composite score will be made available to you instantly. To further check if you have been admitted by checking your admission status, simply click on your Jamb registration number on the result page containing your name. You will be asked to insert your PIN. Enter your PIN appropriately and click “Submit” to reveal if you have been admitted. If you do not have a PIN, click on “Buy PIN” and continue to purchase your pin using the online platform. If you are admitted, you should proceed immediately to pay for your acceptance fee (N19500) online via verve card.

FUTO SUPPLEMENTARY FORM; APPLICATION STARTS ON THE 28TH OF AUGUST

In continuation of the 2012/2013 admission exercise, the university will start the sales of the supplementary admission form on Tuesday 28th August 2012. Interested candidates who made FUTO their 1st and 2nd choices, who must have sat for the 2012/2013 Post UTME in FUTO and who scored a minimum of 180 in the FUTO pume can now apply through the following process. 1. Payment of the sum of #10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) at any of the following banks using e-transact platform. BANKS-Diamond bank,Dirst bank,FCMB,and UBA. 2.download 1 supplementary admission form per candidate from the futo website www.futo.edu.ng and complete. 3. The completed supplementary admission form are then returned not later than Tuesday 11th September 2012 to the admission unit, Registry Annex with photocopies of the following items- i.E-tranzact slip, ii. JAMB result slip, iii. FUTO Post UTME result slip. Minimum Score Requirements for Various Courses There will be NO SUPPLEMENTARY in: Elect/elect, Mechanical,Petroleum,Chemical Engineering,Computer Science. Minimum score of 240 and above in average for:- Dental tech, Optical tech, Public health tech, Civil engineering. Minimum score of 220 and above in average for:- Prosthesis and Orth tech, Project management tech, Biochem, Ind micro biology, Information management tech, Geology, Material &Met Engineering and Polymer and textile engineering. Minimum score of 200 and above in average for:- Agric Engineering, Food science and tech, Biotechn, Agric econs, Transport management tech, Maritime management tech, Financial manag tech, Biomedical tech,ind physics,ind chem,biology,maths,science lab,statistics. Minimum score of 180 and above in average for:- agric ext,animal sci tech,crop sci tech,fishery&aq tech,forestory &wildlife tech,soil sci tech,building tech,environment tech,landscape architectural tech,quanbosomy surveying tech,surveyin &geoinformatics,urban®ional planning. PLEASE NOTE: 1.That before the above average cut off scores can be used, the candidate should have a minimum of 180 in jamb and the futo pume for departments in saat,smat,soet and soht and 200 each in jamb and pume for dept in seet and sosc. 2.That candidates should not complete the forms into more than one department as this will attract outright disqualification.
