What Is JAMB 2012 Cut Off mark?

Congrats once more to those who scored at least 200 and above in the just released JAMB result. Although there has been difficulties checking the results but the site is now back functioning well.

However, one question now on the minds of candidates is that of the cut off mark. Jamb has been known over the years to set cut-off mark for the JAMB scores. This year however JAMB has kept quiet on this issue this has left candidates wondering what the cut off mark would be.

Once more we are NAIJAEDUTECH hereby inform you that all things been equal JAMB might be using the cut off mark for last year which was 180 for universities and 160 for polytechnics and colleges of education.

We still reiterate our call on candidates to bend down and face thier studies. they should not be carried away by thier results for it is not over untill it is over.

Share this post with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. Also follow me on Facebook and Twitter. I love you guys.

Naijaedutech Educational Services; Get SMS Alert For your School Of Choice.

I will like to first congratulate all those who made at least 200 and above in the exam. It wasn't easy passing through all those long night reading and finally coming out successful.

It is that time of the year again when we help students with all the neccesary information they may require as regards getting admission to thier institution of choice.

Information they say is power and it ios this power that is ruling the world now. You can hardly do anything now without the power of information. this is while we atr NAIJAEDUTECH having seen the importance of quality and timely information has decided to launch a new service called NAIJAEDUTECH EDUCATIONAL SERVICES.

This year we are going are going to be carrying out these services;

1.POST UTME PAST QUESTIONS for your revision.
2.SMS alert for your school of choice Till your Matriculation.(This includes information regarding sales of POST UTME forms, writing of the exam, release of result and the admission list)
3.SMS schorlarship alert for One Year
4. Help in Change of Course For Any FUTO aspirant.

Remember that you need this information in order not to loose out. Grab this opportunity now and use it wisely. Every year so many people especially people who stay far away from thier institution of choice do miss out in the aptitude test due to lack/late information.

Moreover you need these past questions to start preparing for your POST UTME. This is because many schools like FUTO do repeat questions from the past question. Do noy relax because of your JAMB score. Research has shown that those who make it in life are not the brightest or the most intelligent but those who are sharp and quick to see opportunities as they come.

Finally to be able to enjoy these services you need to pay a small token of N2,000. You will be able to make payments using these details.;
Bank : First Bank Plc
Account Name: Uwakwe Martin Chigozie,
Account Number: 3046277270

After Payment send your teller no, your email address, your jamb reg no and your full name to 08138543144. You can also send me an email  @ matris4u@yahoo.com

Share this information with your friends on Facebook.

JAMB Shuts Down Website

Barely few hours after the release of the JAMB result the board has shut down thier officiall website at http://www.jamb.org.ng/ . This might be as a result of high traffic it has recieved from over one million students who took the exam. As at the time of writing this a 404 error message is still showing any time you try to open the page.

 I therefore advice all to be patient and wait for JAMB to tidy up thier site and make it better. Better still you can drop a comment here with your Reg no so that I can check it for you free of charge any time the site is back.

Dont forget to share this post with your friends on facebook and Twitter. You can also like and follow our page on Facebook and twitter respectively.T

Goodluck and God bless you

New MTN Data Plans; No Data Limit

One major disadvantage of the MTN Mobile Internet and Fastlink usage is definitely its Data bundle Limitations (100MB, 3GB etc). Users often exceed their data limits before its expiry date even without downloading any file - Its just annoying when you subscribe for a 250MB plan at N1300 and its finished within 1 week.
The New MTN SIMPLE SURF plan seems to be a solution to the data limit problems. This is not really a first as Starcoms and others have similar hourly plans but their service coverage is very limited.

About MTN Nigeria Simple Surf Plan
The New MTN simple surf is Charged HOURLY instead of amount of data used, this gives users total control of their time and amount spent online. You can subscribe to MTN Simple surf from as low as 2 hours to send or receive an email, download a file, or video chat with a friend. Since it has a 2 days validity -  you can use 1 hour, Logout and use the remaining hour the next day.
You might also choose the 300 hours plan to use at the office everyday (12 hours a day) - which will likely last over a month.

MTN Nigeria Simple surf subscription activation codes:
To subscribe for Any of the packages below - Text the Required code to 131
  • 2 HOURS at N250 - TEXT 2H to 131 (2days Validity)
  • 20 HOURS  at N1,500 - TEXT   20H to  131 (7 Days Validity)
  • 100 HOURS at N5,000 - TEXT 100H to 131 (30 Days Validity)
  • 300 HOURS at N13,000 - TEXT 300H to 131(90 Days Validity
NOTE: To save hours - Remember to Disconnect Your Modem while not in use.. or turn off Your Edge / 3G on mobile when not needed.

Albinos will get 2 hours Extra in UTME 2012 - Jamb

Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, yesterday, confirmed that Albinos writing the 2012 UTME will be given an extra time of 2 hours to allow them a leveled ground and equal opportunities with other candidates writing the exam.

Ojerinde noted that because the Albinos are usually challenged with sight problems, majority of them end up not adequately completing the exam as compared to their other colleagues, hence the gesture.

In response to this gesture, The Albinos Foundation has since replied to encourage more albinos to always write Jamb's UTME.

Though a good gesture, it has sparked off a series of questions and controversies such as;
1. Those who are albinos and use glasses or have good eye sights.
2. Those who actually have bad eye sights and are not albinos... Nothing for them?
3. Is this the only gesture to offer the albinos? Was the printing of the texts in larger fonts put into consideration?
4. On what basis was the 2 extra hours reached?
5. Is this not a form of discrimination on the albinos themselves?
